Buy the Kindle. "Just Do IT"

I failed this exam but here's why: First, I don't like these Exam Ref books due to their inconsistency in providing depth. I knew this going in and read this first and not expecting much; it was and is a quick read. I then dived into Pluralsight and CBTNuggets and Anderseid's blog and SharePointArron's. I read it all. I read the ADFS section in MOC20412D - well worth it. I have my own tenant and experimented on that.

I failed mostly because of DIRSync and that's my fault. While prepping and leading up to the exam I used this ref book but skipped the section on DIRSync. I instead focused some on AADConnect and not much else due to MS updating the tool. When I went back and read this chapter those questions were answered in the book.

I think this is the first Exam Ref book that's worth it for a frist read and the days leading up to the exam. Read it cover to cover and understand what's going on and you may pass. I'm to eschedule and I'll pass that retake - I just have to perform exactly the same.

If anyone is curious this isn't my first my exam. I'm A+ and MCSA 7/8 certified. Though I should have checked the exam criteria a little more closely. Goodluck!

Good Starting Point for the first exam 70-346

Been through the book, and going to take my exam soon. This book will provide you with a excellent foundation for the exam. The information in the book is laid out in a nice logical manner with plenty of screen shots. The author does a good job of explaining the material in a easy way. You should not have a problem following the book.

That being said, before you take the exam you should have some hands on experience to help with the concepts and I always recommend some additional exam prep like exam practice exams to ensure that you have everything down. Write down and really know your powershell commands.

Just passed the 70-346 exam on the first try. Good book, easy to read, covers all the topics. Read this book, watched some CBTNuggets videos, , had some hands on experience, passed the test first try. Do sign up for a free trial O365 subscription because Microsoft does move things around and you will want to know where you need click to pass the test.

My everlasting love of this book

Theodora has done it again. This book combined some of the best parts of several of her novels and composed them into one. With her previous wolf series she proved she could do shape shifter fiction and with this new novel she proves she ain’t afraid of no ghost either. This is one of my first forays into the paranormal but TT handles its beautifully and gracefully. She makes ghosts seem eerie yet magical.
The book itself was suspenseful with some unexpected plot twists that leave you unable to stop reading. I completed the book in one sitting and am actually eager to go back and re-read it. For previous TT readers, you will not be disappointed if you enjoyed the Owner of His Heart and His For Keeps, as this story draws from a similar storyline.
As for the characters, I enjoyed Willa and Sawyer’s storyline immensely. Sawyer as the tortured former SEAL amputee and Willa as his reluctant physical therapist just drew you in. I would highly recommend this book for any previous TT readers and as a great introduction to the author for any new readers. You won’t be disappointed.
The only drawback is TT has a knack for giving you other character storylines that the reader is eager to pursue. She has several storylines that are currently up in the air from other novels and she just added a new couple to watch for. This is bittersweet because I can’t wait to read these other novels but then I have to actually WAIT for the other novels. It’s the sweetest kind of agony.

Great Read with Paranormal Twist

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. I really enjoyed the latest story in the 50 loving states series. The paranormal twist the story had was different from the plots in the previous books. It added an underlying layer of mystery to the story, as I was trying to figure out exactly how everything was connected. As always, the author did a great job of weaving together the story of Willa and Sawyer. Willa was a physical therapist who had the same propensity her mom had to be able to see and talk to ghosts even though she did not want to do either. Sawyer was the guy who bullied her in school, but had grown up many years later when they meet after his time in the military. They were an unlikely couple but their chemistry and pull to one another was obvious and couldn't be denied no matter how much either one tried to do it. I also loved all the humor in the book. The supporting characters were hilarious. I loved WIlla's mom and all the ghosts we got to meet throughout the story. I also appreciated the slight nod to some of the other characters in previous books as 1 or 2 were slyly mentioned. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a steamy, yet sweet love story with a few twists and turns that will keep you guessing throughout. I also cannot wait for Thel's story. Hope it comes out soon.

Didn't see that coming

I loved the paranormal story of Willa and Sawyer. At first I was an ardent fan of Ms Taylor's after being introduced to the Wolf series, but now the Fifty States boys have been added to the list. I just have to say, this story was just so sweet. This love that could maybe have only blossomed for Sawyer when he was totally taken out of his element, had me sitting on the edge of my seat for the finale. His Everlasting love, was filled with humor from both Willa and Sawyers mothers. Then we have Willa's secretive sister Thel and then the overbearing Admiral, who is so lonely , he can't help but mess things up. Overall, Ms. Taylor did it again with this story of loves triumph when you have faith, trust and acceptance. And maybe a little help from a ghost or two.

He cuts through all the dieting noise as well as the doing and undoing of weight loss by understanding an essential fact: we maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle by allowing our bodies to metabolize food the way they were meant to do. Five Stars, Incredible and Life Changing

Absolutely fantastic book for anyone.

Dr. Herring is changing lives and truly making a difference. Personally, I have lost 60lbs and have kept it off for 5 years now and have never felt better. Best yet, I'm still eating the food I love. However, intermittent fasting has opened me up to enjoy vegetables that once made me gag. A day of fasting makes broccoli taste like a dream.

Everyone should read this book and give the advice a solid month (or even longer) a try. It's quite simply the easiest diet to follow, I promise. Stop counting calories and start living your life!

New knowledge about an older idea.

I tried Fast-5 when I first downloaded the free E-Book a number of years ago. It was hard to begin with and I always found myself eating a lot of extra food before the window closed. I used Fast-5 off and on since then with limited success. I did lose some fat and am only slightly overweight now (BMI 26) as opposed to being very overweight (BMI 29) before I started. I never quite got to where I really wanted to be though, lean like I was when I was younger.

I was researching Intermittent Fasting when I came across Dr. Herrings new book. It looked interesting so I purchased a copy. I couldn't put it down and kept reading until the end! It had a lot of Ah Ha moments where I realized where I had gone wrong using Fast-5. I had cut my food down to only one meal but what a meal! I ate till I was almost bursting because I couldn't eat again until tomorrow. I wasn't gaining weight but my goals always seemed just out of reach.

It's too early to say how well this is going to end up but I'm very enthused and excited that I may have finally found something that works. I'm going to eat until I'm not hungry, not until I'm stuffed. I'm also following the principles outlined in "The perfect health diet" by Paul and Shou-Ching Jaminet, also available from Amazon.

I plan on writing another review in a few months to report on my success. This new book is just the extra knowledge I needed to make Fast-5 work! Need I say it again? I'm pumped! This book may just be the kick in the pants I needed to succeed!

In Heart of Stone Michael takes the reader back to the place where it all began - Ayers Rock (before it was also named Uluru) . In a detailed, methodical and emotional account he writes of all tragic moment when Lindy heard the 'cry in the dark' and the discovery of the empty baby's bed. Michael describes that long night - with Aboriginal trackers springing to their aid to search, and the head ranger who had agonized for three months previous about the troublesome dingoes in the camping areas. He describes in detail the heartache of the first inquest at Ayers Rock - the first to be broadcast live - which declared that the dingo had taken the baby, and then the turnaround, when he and his wife were charged with suspected murder. Michael describes his life in the painful and horrendous lead up to the arrest and persecution of his wife Lindy and her wrongful imprisonment for the murder of her own child in the 'trial of the century'. He takes the reader through their ordeal of the following inquests, the tragic breakup of their marriage. When an English tourist fell off the rock the search led to the discovery of the 'matinee jacket' in a dingo lair. The news led to Lindy's release 'on compassionate grounds' and yet another inquiry. All of these events are described, as Michael lived in the unrelenting glare of the media, whose opinion and fostering of rumours added to the impression of the public of Michael and his family. There were unfounded rumours, for example, that Azaria meant 'sacrifice in the desert' when it actually means 'blessed'. Questions over Michael's reluctance to cry in public, or his reserved nature were taken to mean he was hiding the truth. Michael's own determination for justice has led to a fourth inquest in the Northern Territory of Australian into the death of Azaria. This book is about getting justice for a family, full circle. Worth the Read

I received "Heart of Stone" as a gift from a friend living in Australia. I live in the United States, and was a high school student in Montana when the central events discussed in this book took place. I had no prior knowledge of the case. But for receiving the book as a gift, it is unlikely I would have read it. But, having read "Heart of Stone," I'm glad I did, although to some degree it was an effort. The book will not be for everyone, but I will briefly explain what you will find, and my impressions.

The complete book title is: "Heart of Stone: Justice for Azaria." Azaria Chamberlain tragically lost her life in 1980 at Ayers Rock (now called Uluru), Australia when Azaria was only two months old. She disappeared from her tent, and her body was never found. The ensuing mystery of what happened to Azaria, and the surrounding legal proceedings, galvanized a nation. The case is now a part of Australian culture. "Heart of Stone" is the personal memoir of Michael Chamberlain, the father of Azaria.

Did a dingo drag away Azaria from a tent and kill her, or did some form of human intervention exist? In 1982, a jury found Michael Chamberlain's wife, Lindy Chamberlain, guilty of murder, and Michael Chamberlain was pronounced guilty of being an accessory after the fact. This book focuses primarily on the many surrounding legal proceedings, evidence used, and associated intense media scrutiny. In 2012 at a fourth coroner's inquest, the coroner found that Azaria was taken and killed by a dingo, and the death certificate was changed accordingly (these findings were issued after the book was published).

Michael Chamberlain contends that his wife Lindy should never have been found guilty of murdering Azaria (or he found guilty of being an after the fact accessory). Mr. Chamberlain argues that the evidence simply did not support the jury decision, and the reason for the guilty verdict was a combination of unfair media coverage, bias and prejudice by the Northern Territory, and fundamentally flawed forensic evidence (among other issues).

The book is presented largely in chronological order. The major waypoints are: four inquests (two preliminary coroner inquiries between 1980-1982, and two later coroner inquiries in 1995 and 2012), a court trial, an appeal to a High Court of Appeal and then to the High Court, Royal Commission proceedings (a special commission appointed by the federal/commonwealth government), and an appeal to the Northern Territory Criminal Court of Appeal (Australia has six states, and ten territories--the events here took place in the Northern Territory). Each legal proceeding is discussed and analyzed. Contemporaneous quotations or comments are often provided from newspapers or other sources. The book contains a helpful chronology, a detailed glossary of people and terms, and an index. Three sets of color photos are included, at least in the hard copy version.

Between the general bookends of the legal proceedings above, a variety of recurring themes occur. The specific evidence in the case is discussed at length. For example, was evidence in the Chamberlain's car blood, or something else? Did dingo hairs exist on Azaria's jumpsuit, or not? As important as some of the specific evidence might be, at least arguably it is the broader issues raised by "Heart of Stone" that are of even more long-term interest. The role of the media is scrutinized repeatedly--the good and the bad. The motives of the Northern Territory are examined. The fairness of some of the proceedings is questioned, in particular the quashing of the first inquest, and the format and conduct of the second inquest. The justice system is questioned: what accountability do forensic experts have? To what extent do social or cultural pressures shape what we think or believe? Mr. Chamberlain was a minister for the Seventh Day Adventists, and he recounts speculation or accusations about the church and its beliefs and practices. "Heart of Stone" raises a timely question about the relationship and authority of the federal government to its states/territories (a question equally relevant in the United States). These themes and issues are not minor plotlines. They are starkly and directly presented by and through the thirty-year course of the Azaria case.

At one level, the writing is not engaging. But Mr. Chamberlain is not trying to entertain. Rather, "Heart of Stone" is an earnest and sincere effort to present a synthesize thirty years of information and life experiences. It's a plea for justice. It's heartfelt. And, in reading "Heart of Stone," one cannot help but be touched by the enormity of the personal struggle the Chamberlains went through as a family. One night changed a family's life forever, and arguably the course of a nation. The questions raised by this book--religion, personal belief, justice, society, government--are timeless. In my opinion, the book is worth a read, and I personally am glad Mr. Chamberlain took the time and effort to write this book.

The Sino-Soviet split and the Sino-American rapprochement of the early 1970s open the way to the "East Asian miracle" and a resurgence of East Asian regionalism, surveyed in Chapter 10. A concluding chapter considers the prospects for continued economic dynamism and the balance of nationalism and pan-Asian trends in shaping the future.
