Title: 'Also anointed like his uncle, Rev. Roland Buck, the Angels on Assignment author'
The author of this book is Timothy Holt, whose great uncle (Roland Buck) was the author of the famous classic, "Angels on Assignment."
The book in question, "When Angels Speak: Roland Buck on Assignment," is a compilation of some of his uncle's sermons given *after* the visits with the angels but *before* he died an untimely death and went on to be with the Lord.
The key thing here is the timing: Since Rev. Buck's sermons were given *after* the holy visitations, they are anointed -I can't count the number of times Buck said he had been preaching a certain way -and that (after the angels and/or GOD HIMSELF had pointed out errors in his theology, that he found out that) he was just plain wrong -and had to 'readjust' his theology! Thus, the latter rain is more strongly anointed than the former.
Author, Timothy Holt, wishes that his uncle's sermons and notes not be lost on the next generation (that's US!), and thus he compiled all 67 sermons, from which he published these several on the blood of Christ. ~ The blood of Christ is important because of the person through whom it flowed; just as the blood of a chicken is worth far less than the blood of a human, so likewise the blood of a mere sinful human is worth far less than the blood of the very Messiah, Jesus, the Son of God -and GOD the Son.
The blood is the source of power through which the Holy Spirit works, and, as Buck preached, the temple is powerless to do its work without the blood just as an engine is powerless to work without the fuel.
Now, my review here does not do service to Holt's book - so I ask you to kindly please go back and see my reviews of the original book, "Angels on Assignment," by Rev. Roland H. Buck (a grandson of the Buck-Knife inventor), and the follow-up book written by his daughter -in response to the Holy Spirit's prompting -and to answer questions people had about her father: "The Man Who Talked With Angels," by Sharon White (Rev. Buck's eldest child -who wrote of more angelic encounters -and the back story of his life/testimony).
In order to understand THIS book (by Holt), you must understand two things:
1) Rev. Buck lived a life that sets an example of grace under pressure (which was shown by the stories his daughter compiled in here book). --and--
2) You should also weigh in the two prophetic predictions made by the author of the original book:
Rev. R.H. Buck (of the famous Buck knife family) passed away on November 06, 1979, long ago and had no way of knowing if his predictions would come true.
First, on page 93, Buck claims the Holy Spirit told him: "...I have already given wings to my messages brought to you by the angel of the Lord."
Then, on page 70, Buck claims "God told me the pope has no more influence with him than the least of his saints, and has no greater privileges, but because his influence with man is great, his choice is God's concern. Therefore, in order to help in the restoration of his fragmented body, God had chosen a man named Karol Wojtyla of Poland. This prophecy was fulfilled October 16, 1978, when he began his reign as Pope John Paul II."
Now, there's no way of proving God told Buck about the Pope before his selection. However, Buck, who died in 1979, had no way of knowing whether or not John Paul would even *live* after being selected, let alone be so influential -for over almost 30 years! -until John Paul's death on April 02, 2005, just two days after the passing of Terri Schiavo. Even quite a few Protestants, Jews, and Muslims think highly of John Paul, so it is safe to say Buck's prophecy came true.
Also, while there are many other angel books, it's safe to say that his other prediction has come true: Angels on Assignment is one of the classic books, and is circulated world-wide. Both prophecies came true.

Revelation of the power of the blood of jesus

The truths of the power of the blood of Jesus and the communion with God himself because of Jesus death on the cross were presented in ways that brought new revelation to me.I see more clearly that God needs communion and fellowship with us and desires that deep intimate relationship with each one of us so much more than we want fellowship with Him because of his great love for us.He verified each truth with powerful scriptures.If you read"Angels on Assignment" first,you would enjoy this one so much more. It has information in it that refers to that book.To me there was no down side to this book.It was very well written.
